Free webinar: peat & sustainable growing media in horticulture

In the battle against climate change, governments and NGOs worldwide have challenged the use of peat in horticulture. Peat is known to be good quality, consistent growing media available at a decent price. However, researchers and producers of growing media have been investigating alternatives.

In a free webinar on May 18 2021 from 3pm to 4.30pm CEST anyone in the ornamental horticulture supply chain is invited to discuss the path towards sustainable growing media. In the webinar session you can find out what the global industry thinks and join in on the conversation.
The webinar is organized by the FloraCulture International (FCI) magazine, supported by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH).

Eat This contributor Klassmann Deilmann, experts in the extraction of raw peat, the manufacture of wood fibre and green compost, and the development, production and sale of growing media, participates in the panel session of this webinar. Webinar participants will be able to pose their questions and join the debate.
