Food for Thought - 26 June in Amsterdam
We’re excited to invite you to join us on June 26 from 15.00 – 21.30 hrs for an interactive sessions & dinner full of Food for Thought at the Maritime Museum & Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam.
Presented in a book, exhibition, and documentary series, Food for Thought by photographer Kadir van Lohuizen is an impressive, provocative, and revealing visualization of the global food domain. It prompts the world to think about our #futureoffood, without prejudice.
EatThis. has had the honor to guide Kadir through the world of international horticulture in an in-residency program. Apart from his skills in photography, we saw that he is a great observer, listener and loves to engage in dialogue.
Together with the Academische Werkplaats Voedsel and the Municipality of Amsterdam, we invite you to join the dialogue!
Afternoon program
Between 15.00 – 18.00 hrs in the Maritime Museum, we will host three interactive sessions to reflect on the Food for Thought narrative from various perspectives, with several professionals within the world of art, health and food production:
Evening program
From 18.00 hrs, you are very welcome to join us for an exquisite, plant-based dinner at Pakhuis De Zwijger, followed by a public session moderated by program manager Sara de Boer where we will reflect on all of the Food for Thought we have digested in the afternoon program.
